What Information We Collect

 

FlyFit was created to help you track your personal fitness progress with challenges and workouts. All of the data we collect is used to make that fitness tracking possible.

We collect personal information that you provide directly to us, such as your name, email address, phone number, and profile picture when your account is created or you update your profile.

 

Health and Fitness Data

 

FlyFit may collect and process health and fitness-related data, including your step count, walking/running mileage data, workout/exercise history, and health goals.

 

Monitoring and Analytics

 

We may collect information about how you interact with the App, such as dates and times you access the App, user behavior (features used, at what frequency), device state information, device model, hardware and operating system info, crashing analytics data, and performance metrics on how the App operates. We collect this type of data with the sole intent of understanding how our customers interact with the App and its services so that we can enhance user experience and functionality.

 

How We Use Your Information

 

We use your personal information for the following purposes:

 

  1. Providing Service:  To deliver and personalize the App's features, services, and content based on your preferences and fitness goals. In order to provide the service most effectively, we may share your name, profile picture, and aggregated health data if you are participating in challenges or other features with other users.

  2. Communication: To send you important notifications, updates, and information related to the App, as well as respond to your inquiries and requests.

  3. Analytics: To analyze usage patterns, troubleshoot technical issues, and improve the functionality and performance of the App.

  4. Marketing: With your consent, to send you promotional materials and offers from FlyFit. You can opt out of marketing communications at any time.

 

Your Privacy Choices

 

You have certain rights regarding your personal information, including the right to access, correct, or delete your data. You may delete your account at any time which will delete all of your personal data. You can also opt out of marketing communications at any time. Below are more details about FlyFit's data retention and deletion policies.​​

Retention Policy


FlyFit retains your personal data only for as long as necessary to provide the services outlined in this Privacy Policy, fulfill legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Specific retention periods include:

  • Health and Fitness Data: Retained for the duration of your account's active status to support personalized fitness tracking and challenge features.

  • Monitoring and Analytics Data: Retained for up to 12 months to analyze usage patterns and improve the App's functionality.

  • Account Information: Retained as long as your account remains active or as required to fulfill legal obligations.

 

Once the retention period ends, or if the data is no longer needed for the purposes outlined above, we securely delete or anonymize the data to prevent unauthorized access or use.

Deletion Policy


You have the right to delete your account and associated data at any time. When you delete your account:

  • Personal Information: All personally identifiable information, such as your name, email address, phone number, and profile picture, will be permanently deleted.

  • Health and Fitness Data: All health-related data, including step count, mileage, workout history, and goals, will be removed from our systems.

  • Shared Information: Any information you shared within challenges or other features may remain visible to other participants in anonymized form.

 

To delete your account, navigate to your profile, then the "⠇" icon, and select "Delete Account". Once you confirm account deletion, your data will be marked for deletion and permanently removed from our systems in accordance with this policy.​

 

Important Notes

  • Certain information may be retained for 6 months in backup or archival copies for a limited time as part of routine system operations, but it will not be accessible or used for any purpose.

  • Data required for legal compliance (e.g., tax or regulatory requirements) may be retained as necessary to meet those obligations.

 

By using FlyFit, you acknowledge your right to delete your data and understand the limits of data deletion based on the conditions outlined above.

 

How We Disclose Your Information

 

We may disclose your information with third parties for a variety of business purposes in the following situations:

  • Service Providers: We may engage third-party service providers to assist with App development, maintenance, or analytics. These service providers will have access to your information only to perform specific tasks on our behalf and are bound by confidentiality agreements.

How We Protect Your Information

By securely storing your data in the cloud, using end-to-end encryption protocols for all data in transit, and securing all personal data access requests by user authentication and authorization, we do our best to maintain safety and security over your personal data. Unfortunately, no system is 100% secure, and we cannot ensure or warrant the ultimate security of the data you provide us, and do not accept liability in the event of unauthorized disclosure.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Please check the "Last updated date" at the beginning of this policy to see when it was last revised. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted indicates your acceptance of the revised Privacy Policy.
