Dr. Rhonda Patrick discusses the health benefits of sauna and cold exposure therapy. A study followed 2,000 middle aged finish men for 20 years. Men who used the sauna 2-3 times a week, were 27% less likely to die from cardiovascular disease compared to men who used the sauna 1 time per week. Men who used the sauna 4-7 times per week were 50% less likely to die from cardiovascular diseases compared to the one time sauna use group.
