The Physiological Sigh is a great tool to help calm us down in times of stress. (24 min 15 sec) Something that can make you feel agitated is the build up of carbon dioxide in the body. If you perform a double inhale, followed by a long exhale, you can rid your body of the built up carbon dioxide, resulting in a calmer state.


If you want your heart rate to slow down and calm your mind and body, have a short inhale followed by a longer exhale.
