What does the liver do?

Without the liver, our bodies would simply stop working.. So this organ is pretty important.

The Liver is the heaviest organ in your body and acts as a storehouse, manufacturing hub and processing plant, meaning it is involved with a whole host of jobs being preformed throughout the body. One of the liver’s main functions is to filter the body’s blood, by cleaning our blood of toxins. The liver also stores glycogen, just in case our body is depleted of this energy producing molecule.
