What is MSG and Is It Actually Bad For You?

Don’t believe everything you hear about certain things that are said in the health and wellness world. MSG (monosodium glutamate) is made by combining sodium and large amounts of glutamate. MSG was created in 1908 and given a bad wrap in 1968 when Dr Robert Ho Man Kwok became ill after eating dinner at a Chinese restaurant. Dr Kwok blamed his illness and headache on his consumption of MSG, which caused a cascade of biased experimentation to occur and also dramatically changed the world’s relationship with MSG.
