You can go 3-4 days without water, a month without food, but try and go 3-4 days without sleep.
Turn the lights down - Dimming the lights changes the quality of sleep you get. Bright lights send a signal to your brain and cells to wake up. Light controls the SCN more than anything else.
It’s the quality of sleep that matters most.
